Georgia Senate Republicans Punish Women, Everyone

Some senators last week approved truly terrible legislation, including bills that require welfare applicants to pass a drug test, prohibit the state employees' health insurance plan from covering abortion services, and prohibit picketers from protesting labor disputes outside the homes of corporate executives. And that's just a sampling.

 Face it. Republicans hate people. And they want to mess with their lives-- stop them from doing all sorts of things they want to do and make them do all sorts of things they don't want to do. Understand this: These folks are the American Taliban. They want to take us back to 1952 or maybe 2 a.d.
